In Mac OS X Yosemite, the iCloud Drive icon is seen on the sidebar. When you try to view information for the files and folders under it, you get the path starting from the iCloud Drive. The real folder location is where mobile documents have been located under OS X. It’s:
~/Library/Mobile Documents/iCloud Drive/
Update: After Yosemite Beta update the new iCloud folder location is:
~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/
Thanks for this, needed to exclude iCloud Drive from Time Machine backup and couldn’t find the location anywhere.
Do you know what it is for El captain?
it’s the same for El Capitan, only when you try to access via finder it redirects you to iCloud view. try
cd ~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/
in terminal.
Helped me a lot! TKS!!!
